*Detailed Role Description:
oDevelopment and design of test plans
oReceiving and interpretation of error reports from the clients
oInterpretation and documentation of error reports from clients
oCreation and design of test scenarios for the testing of software programs
oDevelopment and implementation of software program functionality/regression tests
oPreparation of reports on defects and problems that arise during software tests
oTracking of reported problems and defects using tracking software
oLoad & performance testing
*Desired Profile:
oEducational Background: A bachelor's degree in an IT related field
*Technical Skills:
oKnowledge of SQL
oKnowledge of methods and processes used in quality assurance of software programs
oKnowledge and skills in modern test methodologies
*Job Experience
oIndustry type:
oTarget Cos / sector: IT
oNo of years: 4-6 years.
*The quality in a person looking for:
oMandatory Qualities:
Should have knowledge of Automation tools: Jmeter, Selenium
Should have experience in testing of Web based applications only
Should have experience of db level testing
Should have knowledge of all types of testing terminology like Factory test, Safety test.
oDesirable Qualities:
Knowledge of Security testing like VAPT
Should have experience in creating testing documents as per ITIL standards.
